As South Africans fully comes to terms with what may be his final State Of The Nation Address, President Cyril Ramaphosa seemed to be jubilant and in high spirits as he cracked down on corruption and even went as far as to put into place, reforms to help combat it. Despite his celebratory demeanor, many believe that he failed to acknowledge the deeper troubles the youth of South Africa face, among them being the profound impact that state capture has upon youth development, empowering, and educating the nation.
